Recently, a number of enthusiastic audience to xinxiang our traffic radio: "travel on the road you're shunt the island city intersection set isolation pier let three popular somewhat inconvenient, carriage.
How wide is the spacing between the non-motor vehicles and pedestrians? What is the spacing? Is it inconvenient to actually travel?

Standing at the intersection, the reporter's eyeball should be about 1.5 meters apart. Through affinity, two separate rounds of the two separate blocks are not a problem!

The intersections of the city's intersections are designed to be designed with a net spacing of 1.5-1.8 meters (depending on the location of the location). In accordance with the provisions of the specification for design of urban road design: pedestrians distance is about 0.75 meters, cyclists distance is about 0.6 meters, tricycle (including electric) travel distance is about 1.25 meters. Therefore, 1.5-1.8 meters isolation pier spacing can meet the demand of all the non-motorized traffic in theory, in the process of the traffic will be too narrow, the citizens will feel spacing is likely is caused by state (not straight) through a corner. If you continue to widen the gap, you will not be able to isolate the vehicle.
